Verified rooms for students

A room proven to exist, before you spend a kwacha getting there.

Every room here was photographed by its landlord, standing inside it, holding a one-time code we issued that day.

Recycled photos fail that. So does a room that only exists in a screenshot.

The room check

A fraudster cannot stand in a room he does not have.

The code is good for one day. The landlord writes it on paper, holds it inside the room, and photographs the room.

A dark, badly blurred photograph of a room. Almost nothing in it can be made out.

Rejected on upload

Too dark to read. Photograph it again in daylight.

no code found

The same room, clear and well lit. A hand holds a sheet of paper carrying the code 7QK4.

Published, and verified

Clear, and the code matches the one we issued that morning.

What we ask you for

Four things.

  • Your name
  • A phone number the landlord can call
  • An email, because we have no other way to reach you
  • Your campus and intake

No password, no account, no student ID, no proof of enrolment. You are the one at risk, so we verify the landlord and not you.

How it goes

Dimora is being built now, for intake 2026-1.

The first room checks are at UNZA and Copperbelt University. Every campus in the world gets a page, in both directions.
